Job Description
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Planning, developing, and executing community engagement strategies;
- Advising the Community Engagement Committee (CEC) on all matters concerning community engagement projects;
- Ensuring compliance of community engagement policies;
- Developing communication guidelines and ensure consistency;
- Organizing online events to drive community engagement;
- Mentoring and evaluating Community Engagement team members;
- Revising current strategies and seek potential improvements;
- Establishing KPIs;
- Developing and maintaining effective relationships with valued users;
- Any other duties as assigned by the Executive Director in the Vice Chancellor’s Office.Â
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of a Master’s Degree in Social Sciences or equivalent;
- A relevant Bachelors Degree’s in Social Sciences or equivalent;
- Possession of a PhD would be an added advantage;
- Knowledge of Open and Distance e-learning (ODeL) would be an added advantage
- At least five (5) years of relevant post qualification experience
