The Zimbabwe Open University is looking for creative, reliable, and trustworthy radio assistant producers with strong interpersonal skills and excellent editorial judgment who are team players. The individuals should be confident communicators with strong planning, writing, and time management skills.
Duties and responsibilities
- Editing recorded shows
- Archiving programmes for future reference
- Generating ideas and researching content
- Booking guests and contributors
- Writing interview questions and scripts
- Recording and editing packages and other pre-records such as callers
- Undertaking general research for programmes
- Talent Management
- Completing music reporting information for submission to the Broadcasting Authority of Zimbabwe
- Managing the show’s social media presence including updating the website and programme information

Qualifications and experience
- A degree in media studies, journalism, communication, or equivalent. One year of relevant experience is required.
