Job Description
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leading in the developing and launching of new programmes;
- Developing and producing open and Distance electronic learning materials including writing modules and study guides;
- Tutoring online and face to face;
- Marking assignments and examinations;
- Engaging in research, innovative/ creative work as well as industrialization;
- Promoting the University wide initiatives;
- Establishing partnerships with industry and local communities;
- Fostering Education 5.0 through innovation and industrialisation;
- Engaging in community service;
- Interfacing with other Faculties;
- Engaging in University service;
- Proficiency in teaching and learning strategies; and
- Carrying out any other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of a Master of Arts in Philosophy or Ethics and Organisational Leadership;
- A relevant Bachelor of Arts Honours in Philosophy or Ethics and Organisational Leadership;
- Possession of a PhD in areas stated above is an added advantage;
- A minimum of two (2) years teaching experience in an institution of Higher Learning is a requirement;
- Knowledge and appreciation of the concept of Education 5.0; and
- Knowledge of Open and Distance e-learning (ODeL) would be an added advantage.
