MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Organising and managing professionally the front desk;
- Maintaining a record of all visitors to the Regional Centre;
- Ensuring that students, ZOU staff and other visitors to the Region are expeditiously attended to;
- Answering professionally and promptly all telephone calls;
- Directing and re-routing all incoming telephone calls to the relevant Officers;
- Ensuring that high quality receptionist standards are maintained;
- Ensuring that the switchboard system runs smoothly and efficiently;
- Faxing documents to relevant areas within and outside the University;
- Making tea arrangements when necessary for regional meetings
- Any other duties as assigned by the Regional Administrator.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Certificate in Receptionist
- Five (5) ‘O’ level passes including English language
- One (1) year relevant post qualification experience
