DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESÂ
- Leading in the development and launching of new programmes;
- Developing and producing distance Teaching and Open Learning materials including writing study guides;
- Developing, designing, outlining, reviewing, or rebranding a minimum of one (1) programme per year;
- Able to conduct a minimum of two (2) tutorials per semester;
- Carrying out applied research to develop innovations for industrialisation;
- Promoting the University wide initiatives;
- Establishing partnerships with industry and local communities;
- Engaging in community service;
- Interfacing with other Faculties;
- Fostering Education 5.0 through innovation and Industrialisation
- Engaging in University service; and
- Carrying out any other duties as assigned by the Chairperson of the Department.Â
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCEÂ
- A minimum of a Master of Science Degree in Agribusiness and Entrepreneurship is a prerequisite;
- Bachelor`s Degree in Agribusiness and Entrepreneurship is a prerequisite;
- Possession of a PhD is an added advantage;
- Knowledge of Open and Distance e-Learning would be an added advantage;
- Working experience in a University setting, especially Open and Distance Learning, is an added advantage; and
- Minimum of two (2) years post qualification experience.
