DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receiving of all incoming equipment, materials and supplies from the supplier community;
- Physically checking the goods supplied if they are conforming to the specifications; and
- Verifying supplier invoice if it is corresponding to the purchase order issued by the institution;
- Raising the goods received note;
- Issuing of equipment, materials and supplies to various departments and Regional Campuses;
- Updating of inventory control records;
- Recommending obsolete and redundant inventory items to be disposed; and
- Participating in periodic stock takes;
- Ensuring that the inventory section is clean and tidy at all the times;
- Any other duties as may be assigned by the Administration Officer, Stores.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- National Certificate/Diploma in Purchasing and Supply or Stores Management;
- Five (5) ‘O’ levels including English Language; and
- Two years relevant post qualification experience;
